We're looking for an enthusiastic digital marketer to help assist with the development and implementation of digital marketing strategies that will capitalise on opportunities for Kathmandu in our Australian and New Zealand markets.

This full-time role reporting into the Digital Marketing Manager is part of the campaigns marketing team based in our Christchurch Head Office, consisting of two Digital Marketing Coordinators (Campaigns + Affiliate & Online Partnerships).

The role will primarily be in assisting the two coordinators in the management and implementation of digital marketing campaigns that run across the various online channels in conjunction with our media agencies.

As part of this role you will :

  • Assist with the planning and execution of marketing campaigns that enable Kathmandu to drive brand preference, web and retail store traffic, conversion and revenue through digital channels.
  • Support the co-ordination of email marketing activities to promote and enable consistent representation of brand and campaign messaging.
  • Deliver regular reporting on campaign performance, including analysis and evaluation of KPIs, recommending improvements where needed.
  • Assist on briefs to our external agency and the monitoring of agency performance & KPI’s
  • Collaborate with key internal teams to deliver campaign messaging across paid and owned marketing channels.
  • Come up with new, exciting initiatives to drive engagement across existing and emerging digital channels and databases.
  • Liaise with our New Zealand based stores to identify and implement local marketing opportunities (digital and non-digital)
  • You'll be passionate about digital marketing, with an eye for detail and a flair for communication. You'll be able to see the big picture but still keen to dig into the detail analysing data, developing and implementing campaigns.

    To succeed in this role you will have :

  • A minimum 1-2 years' demonstrated experience in assisting with the execution of digital and marketing campaigns
  • An understanding of digital channels specifically email, retargeting, paid social media and programmatic advertising
  • A demonstrated ability to project manage a range of projects and effectively prioritise competing demands
  • An ability to develop, nurture and manage positive working relationships and deliver excellent client service with both internal and external clients.
  • Self-motivated with proven ability to problem solve and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experienced user of Microsoft office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience in media / content planning would be advantageous
