  • Taylor Centre provides a multi-disciplinary, recovery focussed service for clients living in Central Auckland. Community Acute Service (CAS) provides a comprehensive range of therapeutic treatment options offering and providing intensive home support to Service Users and their families / whanau as an alternative to in patient admission.

    As a key member of this professional, dedicated team, you’ll be assessing and managing the needs of Service Users that are referred to the service with an acute mental health presentation and increased risk.

    Being a confident communicator and decision maker with strong nursing competencies are imperative. This is an opportunity to be a part of a service that will support excellent clinical care into the future, as well as offering the chance to develop your existing Mental Health knowledge and nursing skills in an established and multidisciplinary work environment.

    Applicants will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills and an understanding of the community keyworker role.

    This is ideal for a Mental Health Clinician who has experience and skills working with people from a range of cultural backgrounds and has worked in a Community Mental Health setting previously.

    Strong organisational skills and a high level of time management are also required in the role. Development opportunities are also available.

    This role is not suitable for new graduates.

    You will be a registered mental health professional (Social Workers or Occupational Therapist) and have current Annual Practising Certificate.

    This is essential prior to any appointment. There is full time and part time role options working Monday to Sunday, fully rostered, primarily based in the central suburb of Ponsonby .
