    ABOUT THE ROLEReporting to the ANZ Retail Sales Manager, this role is responsible for the day-to-day management of six Converse and Authentic Factory Outlet stores across Auckland, Te Rapa and Papamoa New Zealand.

    As Regional Manager you will have excellent leadership qualities and be capable of managing a team of highly trained and knowledgeable staff to ensure we deliver exceptional customer service.

    Specifically this role will include, but is not limited to : Effectively coach and train store management and sales staff in our company ethos, vision and ways of workingWork alongside stores to deliver the best possible consumer experience lead by exampleEnsure stores are operating in alignment with company policies and proceduresDrive sales and KPI growth and at a store level, monitoring store budgets on a daily, weekly and monthly basisLocal and interstate travel is required on a daily, weekly and monthly basis visiting our Auckland, Te Rapa and Papamoa storesWork alongside the ANZ Retail Sales Manager to monitor wage spend to turnover and optimise productivityWork alongside the HR Business Partner in terms of recruitment, staff performance reviews, performance management, counselling and providing feedbackWork alongside the Marketing team to ensure all marketing executions are completed correctly and in a timely mannerWork alongside the Product team to ensure appropriate stock levels, and be available if required to complete stocktakesWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR2+ years' retail experience at a regional management levelExtensive knowledge of retail sales and operationPassionate skills in leadership, communication and customer serviceProven success in recruitment, coaching, training and developing peopleStrong consumer focus, proven selling techniques and experience in optimising service standardsExperience in visual merchandising and knowledge of planning product onto floorExperience in stock control procedures and inventory managementKnowledge of AP21 and Riteq beneficialThe successful candidate will receive complete training in our point of sale system, Apparel21.

    You will thrive on a fast-paced retail environment, possess sound financial and business acumen, and a proven track record of growth in territory sales and KPIs.

    You will be motivated by consumer interaction and work day-to-day, alongside your stores, to continuously improve the customer’s experience.

    You will be driven by staff development, retention, training and team coaching. You will understand visual merchandising and possess attention to detail in maintaining retail floor standards expected by a Global brand.

    You will be a structured operator who can effectively manage your own time, as well assist your team, in handling competing priorities.
