Immunology and Allergy Specialist

Our team is currently looking for an Immunology and Allergy specialist to join our department here at the Auckland District Health Board.

  • The successful applicant will have experience in the diagnosis and management of allergy, immunodeficiency and autoimmune disorders.

  • In keeping with our Departments’ reputation for being a supportive, friendly environment, we are looking for an individual with strong communication skills;
  • this will serve them well in tending to the broad spectrum of conditions presented by our patients who are of varying cultures, ethnicities and ages (adolescents & adults).

    We currently have 9 consultant Immunologists with wide-ranging scopes of practice and areas of interest, as well as a dedicated immunology day stay ward with a team of experienced Specialist Nurses.

    We are also actively involved in teaching and research and have close collegial relationships with the University of Auckland and the Paediatric Immunology team at Starship Hospital.
