The National Account Manager for FoodstuffsNorth Island initiates, develops and manages all commercial activitiesnecessary to provide a full service to ensure the achievement of business objectives.

You will implement the strategic directionfor all aspects of customer execution, promotional programs, range management,customer marketing and sales planning whilst maintaining strong customerrelationships and creating win / win outcomes.

Keyresponsibilities include :

  • Full accountmanagement for Foodstuffs North Island this includes business planning,regular customer contact, program management, delivery of all financialobjectives
  • Execution ofcompany brand and category strategy within the customer and customer stores
  • Lead thedevelopment and implementation of the joint business plan which includes agrowth target, activation and category plans, trade promotional program
  • Monitor andanalyse customer performance against set objectives
  • Deliver offinancial metric including net sales and profit goals and P&L management
  • Maximisecustomer marketing opportunities to add value to the account
  • Work closelywith Demand Planning to prepare the necessary growth trend analysis, futureprojections to produce an accurate demand forecast on a 12 month rolling basis
  • Workclosely with our field selling team to drive execution of programs
  • We’reseeking a motivated and passionate FMCG professional with the following skills,experience & attributes :

  • Previousexperience as an Account or Category Manager in the FMCG / Grocery industry
  • Strongcommercial acumen
  • Excellentinfluencing and negotiation skills andexperience
  • Effectivewritten and verbal communication skills
  • Ananalytical ability to draw insights and help in decision making
  • The abilityto prioritise projects and timelines
  • Someone whois self-motivated and driven to succeed
  • A teamplayer who contributes in a positive way to the team drives a winning culture
