About the opportunity

We have a unique opportunity for an experienced Capital Development Manager to join our Capital Markets team. This team is responsible for optimally funding Fonterra’s business and strategy and managing its financial risks prudently and efficiently.

As a key member in the team, you will provide leadership and objective assessment to facilitate the prioritisation and the management of Fonterra overall capital envelope that includes Business Growth investments, Essential investments to Sustainability investments.

You will maintain and enhance objectivity and professionalism of the Capital Development function across all Fonterra business.

Key responsibilities will include :

  • Provide analysis of our capital investment pipeline and ensure its alignment with company strategy and asset roadmaps
  • Facilitate the prioritisation process for Business Growth investments.
  • Prepare and complete pressure test process for capital programmes,
  • Develop and improve the alignment between product development and capital planning.
  • Deliver management reporting and insights via shared platforms
  • Support the development, the implementation and the deployment of the future Plan Fonterra Portfolio Management tool across Business Units (BU).
  • About you

    You will be an experienced Investment advisor who is passionate about working closely with internal stakeholders or clients and provide your expert advice on capital investment.

    We think that having the following attributes will help you succeed in the role :

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline;
  • Extensive experience in management and investment consulting;
  • Experience and strong knowledge of strategic and financial analysis;
