Job Description

Drive performance, add value and be part of our growing Commercial Buying team and channel - with the same customer-centric view of any buying role, we’re currently recruiting for a driven and commercial B2B Buyer / Category Manager to join the team!

Part of our wider Merchandise and buying team, our Commercial Buying chapter are passionate experts in commercial buying and assortment across the Group’s brands, servicing and supporting the needs of our commercial and business customers across all industries and sectors, from SMEs to large corporates, and including our loyalty partner portfolio where this role will primarily support.

With your buying and relationship management experience, you’ll have opportunity to create and deliver the right mix of product ranges and propositions that meet our loyalty partner customers’ needs whilst aligning with our high TWG standards on quality, offering and price points, driving commercial results in this portfolio.

With huge growth and potential to maximise even more opportunities, this role is critical to deliver for our customer portfolio and support our key internal customers i.

e. our Commercial sales team!

Your key responsibilities will further include :

  • Analysing product and market drivers and trends (both local and global)
  • Work in partnership with the TWG Business / Commercial sales team to deliver the right product proposition and price to our commercial / loyalty customers
  • Managing Supplier Relationships and negotiation
  • Delivering on sales and profit in this portfolio
  • Working cross-functionally to help develop and implement the strategic direction
  • Qualifications

    You’re someone that has equal view of your category performance and relationship management accountabilities to deliver for our loyalty partner customers, both in range and product proposition plus service and can work flexibly to quickly adapt to our customers’ needs.

    You’ll excel at stakeholder management, have the essential communication and negotiation skills to unlock collaboration, productivity and speed to market.

    You will enjoy working cross-functionally with wider business functions, including a key partner to our Commercial Sales team.

    Your drive to contribute whilst taking ownership means you work effectively, both independently and collaboratively to deliver your best work and commercial results for the business.

  • Buying experience
  • B2B / Commercial and / or Loyalty experience is highly desirable
  • Strong commercial acumen as well as a resilient and driven nature
  • Ability to deliver to critical paths and decisiveness in a fast-moving environment
  • Curious, innovative and collaborative - Ability to build relationships with different stakeholders
