What you’ll be doing

As a Solution Architect within the Data and Integration team, you will play a key role in helping our clients analyse problems and craft creative integrated solutions.

You will design solutions that are fit for purpose, integrated, scalable, secure and aligned with best practices. Your in-depth knowledge of cloud data and integration combined with strong interpersonal skills will enable you to operate on both a strategic and technical leadership level.

You will support integration, data engineering and business teams throughout the implementation process and act as a trusted technology advisor on client engagements.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Collaborate with our clients to understand business needs and problems and develop fit-for-purpose solution architectures and designs.

Work with Business Analysts, Domain Architects and Security teams to develop solution architectures that are aligned with client outcomes, integration and security requirements

Work with industry partners to ensure solution architectures and designs are aligned with industry and technology best practices

Ratify solution architectures and designs with relevant architectural governance bodies and senior leaders to gain endorsement on technology choices and fit

Interact with client stakeholders and system integrators / vendors across multiple levels to establish and maintain strong working relationships

Operate as a trusted technology advisor for clients with a commercial awareness to grow engagements

Support engineering and business teams throughout the implementation process

Contribute towards growing and enhancing the technology skills within the practice through facilitation of knowledge sharing and training sessions

Desired skills & experience

  • At least 3 to 5 years experience as a Solutions Architect with expertise in architecting, designing and the implementation of large scale integrated solutions. You will have;
  • Experience introducing new business application capabilities (e.g. solutions from SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, Microsoft etc.

    into a production environment

    Understanding of architectural patterns / frameworks (certification preferable), example; Service Oriented Architectures

    The ability to produce architectural models and diagrams

    Understanding of design patterns

    Sound knowledge of the use of :

    Microsoft Azure and Mulesoft for integrating solutions

    Enterprise Integration patterns

    Event Stream Processing

    Public Cloud Platform as a Service’ Integration Offerings

  • Experience in deployment architectures and models
  • Experience engaging with various stakeholders (up to executive level)
  • Excellent communication, presentation, written and decision making skills
  • The ability to build good working relationships with internal teams, client stakeholders and industry partners
