We're looking for a candidate for this position in an exciting company.

The firm is now seeking to employ an additional lawyer to work alongside a Partner who has come from a top tier Auckland firm and brought his commercial clients with him.

Acting for a mix of local, national and international clients, including a number of large corporates, your work will include corporate and structuring advice, regulatory advice, M&A, property transactions of all types including purchases, leases and forestry rights, sales contracts, general commercial contracts and strategic advice.

The legal work that this Partner does can only be described as pioneering and therefore, you will be involved in some exciting projects related to NZ's climate change laws.

a NZ Law Degree (LLB) and be admitted to practice in NZ

5+ years' experience in commercial property and / or general commercial law

Prior experience in climate change laws and / or forestry would be advantageous but is not essential

Strong drafting and transactional skills

Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive, 'can do' attitude
