The Business Intelligence Services team at Waka Kotahi builds business intelligence and reporting solutions to provide data and insights to operational and management teams as well to the New Zealand Public.
Our solutions help the organisation operate more efficiently and provide evidence for key decisions that affect New Zealanders every day.
The Manager, Business Intelligence Analysis is responsible for guiding and leading a team of 5 data focused Business Analysts.
They carry out the business analysis work, including requirements gathering of business requirements from users and designing data and reporting solutions that meet those requirements.

With a BA background yourself, you will be able to showcase your analytical skills by ensuring that your team provides fit-for-purpose business analysis services to projects and initiatives, tailoring what is delivered and how it's delivered to meet business needs.
Your expertise will be in consulting with and managing the relevant stakeholders through the process to identify their needs and ensure that appropriate solutions are identified and assessed.
Your strong communication skills will enable you to work productively with non-technical business people, and to write high quality report specifications that communicate their needs clearly to technical personnel.
