  • The Property Group sits within Organisational Capability and Services branch and is dedicated to supporting the rest of the Department to succeed by providing corporate services that help business groups and people within DIA to make the best contribution to New Zealand.

    The purpose of the Receptionist role is to deliver an efficient service to customers make contacting with reception be that in person or through the telephone system.

    Customers contacting DIA do not always know who they need to talk to or where they should go, so the receptionist is there to ensure they connect with the right person or arrive at the right place.

    The role also provides property-related support services to DIA staff and manages contractors wanting to access the building.

    There are two receptionists attending the desk and it is important they work together to deliver a quality service to all customers.
