The main objective of the NZ Finance Manager is to lead the finance function by enhanced business performance and initiatives that deliver year on year sustainable growth.

The role will also be responsible for ensuring that the correct financial controls and business practices are in place. The role requires strong people management and business partnering skills in order to collaborate and influence across the ANZ region.

The NZ Finance Manager will play a pivotal role in the future success of the organisation, with direct leadership of the NZ commercial function this role will be fundamental in driving the business forward.

To be successful in this role the NZ Finance Manager will need to be self-motivated and comfortable working in a dynamic and changing environment.

The NZ Finance Manager will need to possess strong people leadership experience as well as a very commercial and operational outlook.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead partnership with the NZ GM and site leadership team to monitor and deliver financial plans.
  • Lead site financial performance calls, score carding of performance and highlight risk and opportunities in delivering strategic plans.
  • Ensure that forecasts reflects key changes expected in business performance.
  • Statutory Finance Director of NZ commercial unit demonstrating ownership of statutory financial filings, health and safety, and other board matters.
  • Drive initiatives that contribute towards the sustainable growth of the NZ business
  • Lead and manage NZ commercial function and demonstrate influence across ANZ to drive performance and initiatives.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations on NZ strategic plan delivery and initiatives.
  • Partner with senior leaders to drive the business transformation agenda.
  • Key Requirements :

  • CA / CPA Qualified
  • 10+ years leadership experience in large multi-national businesses
  • FMCG experience would be a distinct advantage
  • Ability to work autonomously in a dynamic environment
  • Proven experience of change management and business transformation
  • Demonstrated ability working in strategic and operation roles
  • Strong inter-personal skills and the ability to business partner across all areas of the organisation
