Business Administrator - Operations and Process

Joining the Infrastructure Operations group as our Business Administrator Operations and Process, you will provide business support to the Head of Waters Operations and Processes and broader team within the Waters Unit.

Some of your responsibilities will include :

  • High level administration support to the Head of Waters Operations and Process, including email and diary management, purchasing and financial management
  • Administrative support across the wider Operations and Processes team including at both the Wastewater and Water Treatment Plants
  • Coordinating meeting agendas, reports, and minutes, to ensure that the team is delivering on key timeframes associated with Group and Council reporting
  • Ensuring that unit policies and processes are in place and are efficient and effective, are regularly reviewed and improved
  • Identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement across the team, unit and group
  • Skills and Experience :

  • Able to start at 7.30am at the Pukete Wastewater Treatment Plant up to 3 days a week.
  • 5+ years’ relevant business administration experience, with emphasis on finance, quality, and improvement
  • Ability to effectively work independently, anticipate requirements, monitor workload, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders
