Please note this role is for a oneyear fixed term Who are we The LondonGreen Group is made up of two Hamilton based companies IT Partners and Lightwire IT Partners creates and delivers holistic IT Solutions for businesses who want to drive growth and success While Lightwire is an Internet Service Provider who provide rural broadband solutions across the Waikato and Bay of Plenty regions and business broadband for Australian and New Zealand Businesses We are committed to building the best place to work and continue to look at ways to enhance that We hire smart proactive and enthusiastic professionals who are committed to growing both personally and professionally We have high standards of our Team and in return we create an environment where our people can thrive feel valued and are well rewarded What youll bring to this role Our Health Safety Compliance Officer will work across the LondonGreen Group with a large portion of time being spent alongside Lightwire s Rural Field Team ensuring compliance against our Health Safety Management System HSMS through communication development and embedding of the procedures within the HSMS This role will work with the Team and will develop efficient practical and effective solutions to mitigate our critical risks and support safe work practices whilst looking for continuous improvements The incumbent will approach this role from a place of learning from others and working alongside the Team to achieve the best safety outcomes Health Safety is not a box ticking exercise for us it is getting our people home safe to their families every day They will be an active team player hold strong problemsolving skills excel in all forms of communication and be forwardthinking to identify creative solutions that drives our Health and Safety culture Our vision for Health Safety is We are all uncompromising in our standards of Health and Safety We provide the best knowledge equipment and systems to get our people home safe every day What you ll be doing in this role The key driver of this role is the work that needs to be completed to ensure compliance against our Health Safety Management System We have a lot of resources and practises that need process put around them for them to be communicated and embedded in our culture Some other duties within this role will be Hazard and Risk Management Manage the near miss identified hazard and accident reporting process while looking for opportunities to mitigate critical risks Process Development Develop implement and promote robust and practical Health Safety solutions whilst looking for continuous improvements Culture enhancements Maintain and promote the Health and Safety culture across the LondonGreen Group Training Identify and coordinate health and safety related training and opportunities to educate the Team on health and safety related topics What you ll need to qualify for this role 3 years experience in Health and Safety role or similar role Excellent oral and written communication and documentation skills Knowledge of legislations and procedures Training can be provided Experience with writing policies and procedures for health and safety Training can be provided Knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices Working knowledge of safety management systems Proficient in Microsoft Office Full Drivers Licence What next If you are interested in this role and meet the above requirements then please apply online today We start considering applications as soon as they arrive so encourage you to apply early Please note we are only accepting applications from New Zealand or Australian citizens residents
