We are looking for a Permanent Fixed-Term Unit Manager to lead our Education site in Hamilton during a period of maternity leave.
Days of work are Monday to Friday and some weekends work.
The role will commence on Monday 10th January 2022 (negotiable) and end on Friday 16th December 2022.
In this position you will be responsible for :
The Food : Ensure the quality of every dish we serve! Order supplies, hands-on cooking, menu development, allergen and nutrition management.
The Business : Ensure the site runs within budget (or better than budget!), develop and maintain excellent client and customer relations, enter payroll, process invoices, stock take and month end process.
The People : Manage, develop and train your team to grow capability and a positive team environment.
The Safety : Ensure our people get home safely and our consumers are safe every day by ensuring the site is compliant with health and safety and food safety practices.
What we are looking for :
If you're our perfect candidate you will be hard working, with a friendly outgoing personality and a 'can do' attitude. You will have at least 3 years' experience working as a chef with managerial experience, have budget and financial management experience and be computer savvy.
Ideally you will hold food safety certificates (Unit Standard 167 and 168) but most importantly you will demonstrate a passion for great food, customer service and quality!
