  • With the Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland brand front and centre, we need someone who can take the initiative, be in the detail as well as the big picture, and get stuck in to do whatever is required as we seek to enhance our reputation as one of the best places in the world to visit, work, invest, study and do business;
  • and in doing so, drive economic growth and prosperity for all Aucklanders.

    In this role you will be expected to build strong working relationships with the marketing team, external agencies and suppliers and with the Auckland Council family.

    You will actively collaborate with the brand and digital team and senior marketers in the business units to help deliver a compelling and consistent brand story for Auckland, Auckland Unlimited and the business unit brands.

    You will be responsible for managing and organising all the assets needed to tell Aucklanders and the world what it is that makes Tāmaki Makaurau unique.

    You will be responsible for ensuring organisational brands are developed and implemented and oversee any campaign or new brand development and roll out.

    He kōrero mōu : About you

    We are looking for a brand-savvy generalist, with experience in branding, marketing, production and design. You will have excellent visual, brand content-marketing, time-management and organisational skills along with a will do attitude to join us at this exciting time.

    You’ll need to be strategic and pragmatic, unafraid of admin and processes required, with enthusiastic attention to detail.

    Experience in digital and traditional design is expected as well as brand implementation and guardianship experience.

    You will have a strategic mindset, with an organised and patient approach to producing and managing logos, brand kits, templates, video clips and photography all with the end-user in mind.

    As a natural collaborator, you enjoy managing agency and customer relationships and can work effectively across all internal and external stakeholder relationships.

    You are proactive and take the initiative to ensure that your projects and workstreams are managed and on track. You are tenacious and enjoy working on long-term projects - maintaining focus, attention and enthusiasm throughout.
