Reporting to the Team Manager, we are looking for a Vegetation Control Operator to take total Ownership of the vegetation control duties for the Christchurch park and reserves.

This position involves but is not limited to spray operations and vegetation control; including plant and pest identification, application of organic herbicide to control weeds, general parks vegetation maintenance, planting, pruning roses, shrubs, herbaceous perennials, mowing, rubbish collection and turf maintenance.

You will also participate in the annual clean-up which includes pruning, hedge trimming and pest control.

The Success Factors

A full driving license is essential for this role

You will be able to prioritise and have the ability to work within timeframes

You will be a hardworking, reliable team player and demonstrate a positive attitude and behaviours towards working safely
