Community Living is a service providing cares for our clients in the community. As part of Geneva Healthcare this service is supported to deliver care to our clients who have a range of intellectual disabilities.

This role is designed to enhance their lifestyle by delivering connections with external community networks. This involves outings with person centred activities and integration's to benefit our clients.

You will be a valued mentor and leader to guide our clients to attainable pathways to help them achieve their goals and be the best they can be.

Your calendar will be full of exciting and effective outings to benefit all involved. Naturally you are a go getter and are willing to go over and above to do you part in supporting our clients to live their best lives!

This role is a Monday to Friday position, 40 hours per week and based in Central AKL.

Skills required for this position :

  • Level 4 qualification and relevant experience - you may have a background in OT or Physical Education
  • A high level of professionalism
  • English as a first language
  • Full current drivers licence - ability to drive a manual van
  • Good computer skills
  • Be organised with a high level of motivation
  • A sense of humour
