Hamilton is known for its natural environment, with street and parktrees an important feature of the city scape. Hamilton City Council’sCity Parks team is responsible for the physical work on those trees, andis after a keen person to join our crew.
The role includes learning how to maintain established trees across thecity.
We're after a committed and enthusiastic person willing to learn andbecome a qualified Arborist. Health andsafety is an important part of this role and you’ll need to demonstrate youhave a high level of understanding for keeping yourself, your workmates and thepublic safe while you are on the job.
Our unit is a tight-knit team and we need someone who works wellalongside others. You need to be able tocommunicate clearly and effectively.
If you are able to work in a team environment with high expectations ofbehaviour this is the role for you. The recruiting rate is $18.93 per hour.
