About the role
Leverage your Traffic Engineering and customer skills to work with our community and stakeholders to deliver services across our transport network.
This role focuses on effective enablement of our road network for all users. In this role you will manage work programmes and assist us to achieve our Annual Plan objectives.
In this role you will help deliver transport outcomes aligned with the City's vision for the future and be an advocate for the adoption of appropriate traffic policy at Council level.
This role will build on your experience in traffic engineering and ability to apply traffic principles to improvement opportunities.
An understanding of Local Government processes would be advantageous.
This role will draw not only on your people skills, but also your ability to represent Council at community meetings on transport related matters.
You should possess a sound knowledge of traffic engineering principles and operations to provide a professional service to our customers and ensure our service complies with Council Bylaws for resolution changes, public notifications and approval processes.
