Project Manager - Civil Engineering
Harrison Grierson
Auckland Parnell, New Zealand
14h ago

For 135 years, Harrison Grierson has been engineering the future of New Zealand and, through our many diverse projects, we continue to make our mark on tomorrow.

We're recognised for our innovation, knowledge and outstanding client service, and for being a great place to work.

We'd describe ourselves as determined, accountable and everything we do is done with integrity. Our clients are at the centre of what we do, we build a sound understanding of their needs and deliver creative solutions.

The size of our organisation is something our employees love; we're not too big or too small so you quickly become an integral part of the business.

As we grow, so too does the talented team of people around us, which includes our Land Development team in Auckland. It's fair to say that our exceptional people are at the heart of our success.

That's where you come in

You deliver an exceptional client experience by successfully overseeing our projects from start to finish - ensuring they are delivered on time, to cost, and in keeping with the quality we pride ourselves on.

You will make project goals your own and use your skills and expertise to inspire a sense of shared purpose within the project team.

The quality of your work and ability to effectively mobilise our people to deliver results will keep our clients coming back for more in the future.

All HG team members are expected to take a people leadership role - for you this will take the form of personal leadership, leading project teams to deliver results and role-modelling our values.

Ideally we are looking for 8+ years' experience, with a focus on civil engineering, preferably Land Development projects.

What you'll be doing

You'll have the opportunity to work on the delivery of some of Harrison Grierson's largest projects; you'll be working autonomously on delivering a wide variety of Land Development projects such as residential, industrial, and commercial developments.

You'll have the opportunity to work with our technical experts and client champions across the different teams.

Working alongside our key clients, you'll provide high quality project management and advice to support desired project outputs.

You'll be accountable for the timely delivery of projects including being responsible for the projects' plans, document control, and financial and risk management, to support our technical experts.

What can we offer?

We're committed to investing in our people to create a high-performing team. As well as a competitive remuneration package, we develop and mentor you throughout your career, giving you the opportunity to work on a wide variety of multi-disciplinary projects, liaising with client and project teams, and assisting with civil projects across the nation.
