About the role :

We are in need of a self-motivated individual to provide high-quality support services to one of our senior leaders within the Corporate and Digital Services business unit.

We are looking for someone who is business savvy, who can exercise good judgement and pitch in to get the job done. We are a small and busy team driven by values and outcomes, so you must be a team player.

Corporate and Digital services encompasses ICT services, The Office of the Deputy Secretary, Data & Information, Assurance & Continuity, People and Performance, Commercial and Property and Health Safety & Security.

The Office provides business support and advisory services to the Deputy Secretary Corporate & Digital and supports wider group initiatives.

What are we looking for?

A key part of the role is diary management and organisation, ensuring our leaders make the most efficient use of their time.

You will also support the wider team with general administration and have no trouble switching gears with several projects on the go.

The role is varied and there will be the chance to get involved in other pieces of work that will build your skills.

  • To be successful you will;
  • be a confident communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills, and impeccable attention to detail,
  • work with discretion and sensitivity, particularly in your regular dealings with highly confidential matters,
  • have excellent time management skills; prioritising competing demands and quickly responding when things change, and
  • have strong knowledge of the MS office suite.
  • You will be based at the Ministry of Justice National Office in central Wellington. This is a full-time permanent position.
