We are currently recruiting for proactive, motivated and committed Process Operators to work the Weekend Shift on site at Wiri : Day shift; 7am 7pm.

You will be a key part of a strong and supportive team and will be responsible to efficiently run production & sanitation on weekend, your positive attitude, solid attendance history, and excellent work ethic will be recognised and rewarded within the business.

Our Process Operator role will see you running our manufacturing equipment in a safe, cost-effective and efficient manner to produce high-quality product.

Key Accountabilities :

  • Experience as a packaging machine operator or manufacturing operator, Experience on robots and stock controller duties will be added advantage.
  • Flexibility with working on any line as a result of business needs.
  • Experience in trouble shooting and line breakdowns.
  • Knowledge in basic food safety requirements.
  • Ensure safety, health and environmental compliance in all areas : completing quality checks, flavour testing, product specification testing and management of materials and waste.
  • Actively contribute to Food Safety targets within the team.
  • Commitment and continuous adherence to H&S, Food Safety and Environmental procedure and other company policies, procedures and standards.
  • Qualifications / Requirements

    Qualifications, Skills and Experience :

  • Good mechanical aptitude with strong attention to detail, safety and reliability
  • Flexible approach to ensure the job gets done right the first time and to ensure quality in every bag
  • Motivated individual with a hunger to learn new skills, challenge yourself and progress your career
  • Ability to work autonomously, whilst working towards achieving team goals
  • An active and involved contributor within the wider team
  • Previous knowledge and experience of process controls, quality assurance and Health & Safety in the food industry an advantage
  • Good attendance record
  • Good communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
