This is a permanent part-time position working 30 hours per week, rostered 5 days from Monday to Sunday, early and late night shifts.
This is a hands on role that will require you to plan and deliver our Out of School Care (OSCAR) programme, holiday programme and to ensure the highest possible standards of Health and Safety are met.
You will also be required to develop, plan and facilitate a variety of recreational programmes for the Otara community. These include working with different age groups, coordinating user groups and sports leagues, implementing new ideas and continuously improving our standards to meet our community promise of "getting active your way".
He kōrero mōu : About youPart of an energetic and proactive team, you are a keen team player with a flexible approach and an ability to use your initiative to assist in our innovative and exciting programmes.
The ideal applicant will be passionate about sports and recreation as well as possessing or working towards obtaining a relevant qualification within the field.
Previous sports coaching and / or umpiring experience, a full, clean driver's licence and first aid qualification is preferred.
