Expressions of Interest - Investigation and Design Project Managers (all levels)

Auckland is growing fast, and our project delivery teams within the Integrated Networks division are growing at a pace to match.

We have numerous projects focussed on redesigning city spaces and transforming transport infrastructure to create a vibrant, safer city that empowers our communities.

The opportunities

We are seeking expressions of interest from Project Managers (entry level through to highly experienced principals) to join us on during this exciting time of growth, transformation and construction across Auckland! We are seeking individuals with experience in the Investigation and Design phases of transport infrastructure projects

These positions are critical as you will manage projects through the Investigation and Design (I&D) phases in accordance with AT's Enterprise Project Management Framework as well as establishing and leading effective project teams to deliver the projects whilst achieving AT's Safety, Customer centric and value for money objectives.

Our Principal level professionals, along with managing more complex project lifecycles, will also provide coaching, and support to the wider team and organisation ensuring that we champion effective project management.

About you

We are looking to hear from you if you possess :

  • A positive attitude, a willingness to learn and a passion for project management
  • Project Management experience coupled with a Project Management qualification, preferably PRINCE2 Practitioner or PMP
  • For our senior to principal roles - experience in project managing I&D phases of complex transport infrastructure projects ($5m to $50m+)
  • Industry experience in either transportation, civil, roading or infrastructure
  • Experience in contract management
  • Project Management best practices and tools including MS Project, Risk Management and familiarity with the Waka Kotahi's Business Case Approach
  • Exceptional communication and relationship building skills, able to engage confidently and clearly both verbally and written
  • Adaptability with the proven ability to problem solve and influence ensuring effective solutions
