Our New Zealand HSE team are seeking an Health, Safety and Wellness Advisor to provide support for our local area management team and the wider New Zealand business for Health, Safety and Environment and our Culture of Caring.

By driving compliance with Jacobs’ Business Management System (BMS) and the requirements of our New Zealand and International standards accreditation, you will play an important role in ensuring we provide outstanding service delivery to our clients.

The Health, Safety and Wellness Advisor assists in the development of plans, organises, coordinates and monitors safety programs to ensure compliance with NZ occupational safety and health regulations, company and client policies and procedures.

  • This is a site-based role in Auckland.
  • This position requires 90% outdoors and 10% office / administrative duties.
  • The individual must also be prepared to work nights with 40-50% of their time scheduled to cover these shifts.
  • The position will report to the Health, Safety & Wellness Delivery Manager.
  • Here's What You'll Need :

  • Degree in Health and Safety management preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial / construction safety required
  • Professional health and safety certification preferred NZISM, IOSH, CSP)
  • Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word / Excel / Outlook / PowerPoint)
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work independently and in a team environment
