We're recruiting for Seasonal Staff.We are looking for a great, hard working and high energy individual to add to our Retail Sales Team!This is a great opportunity to work for, Birkenstock, a premium footwear brand in a store on Teed St, Newmarket, Auckland CBD.
You will be working on the retail sales floor assisting our clients throughout the year. Job responsibilities include : Building relationships with clients who visit the retail store, and creating an enjoyable shopping experience.
Using POS systems to process purchasesAnswering phone inquiriesManaging & marking off incoming stock with attention to detail.
Aiding with store merchandisingCleaning and maintaining a retail space to the highest standardPromoting and representing a premium brand to the highest standard at all times.
The successful candidate will be available on a SATURDAY & / or SUNDAY consistently throughout the year.The candidate will have an opportunity to pick up additional hours throughout the week throughout the holiday period (Nov-Feb).
The successful candidate will be : Fully available for the specified day above (Every SATURDAY & / or SUNDAY).Be a strong communicator with people from all walks of lifeHave experience in working in retail / hospitality environments where 1st impressions and communication is key!Be able to work calmly in a busy retail environmentBe able to take direction from senior staff, and efficiently be able to complete tasksHave a high standard of personal hygiene and presentationHave an eye for detail in all aspects of the workplaceHave a positive outlook and high energy!The successful candidate will be awarded consistent hours, training, a pair of Birkenstock sandals as uniform, and good rates of pay.
