Registered Nurse Fixed term

  • About the Role

    As part of our preparations for endemic Covid-19 in the community we are seeking talented, experienced and motivated nurses to join our team.

    Work will be on our General Ward or in our Emergency Department. The work will involve rostered shift work and you will also be part of an on-call roster to assist with transfers.

    We have several positions available. These positions are fixed term for up to one year. Please indicate on your application your preferred FTE hours.

    The rostered hours are Monday to Sunday.

    About You

    To be successful in this role, you must have the ability to initiate and accept responsibility, work autonomously where appropriate or necessary and have the ability to function well in a multidisciplinary team.

    You will be a great communicator, a flexible team player with a strong commitment to best practice including the ability to demonstrate quality in nursing competencies.

    It is preferred that applicants have a minimum three years post graduate with ED experience.

    You must be registered in accordance with the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003 as a Registered Nurse and have a current Practising Certificate.
