healthAlliance is one of New Zealand’s largest shared services providers. We support the four Northern Region District Health Boards (DHB’s) with technology shared services.

As an IT Trainer you will hold a very similar role to traditional On-Site IT Support, however you will also be our experience guide guiding users through Windows10 and Office365.

Coming from a technical background means that you are hands on, can fix issues while onsite and will be a vital link in our upgrading of the Auckland Metro Region at our local District Health Board sites (Middlemore, Auckland & North Shore Hospitals).

This is a Fixed Term opportunity until April 2022 .

  • One on one training to users on Windows10, Office365 (Teams, OneNote) and Windows2016 (preferred)
  • Travel between the three local DHB’s
  • Direct interaction with a variety of users, with a wide range of technical abilities and experience

  • We are upgrading Office 365 therefore previous experience with Windows10 and Office 365, in a corporate environment, is a must
  • You are experienced in general onsite support requirements, including mapping network drives
  • You have a methodical approach and enjoying completing your check list up to the last one

    To be considered for this role you will need to have received your first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine by 15 November 2021 and be fully vaccinated by 1 January 2022.

    This requirement results from healthAlliance being a provider of services to the health sector, meaning that many of our staff interact closely with staff from (and at) DHBS.

    Further, in the event of incidents and emergencies, our Connect building must be available for DHB staff to use as a backup site.

    As a result, all of our staff are required to be vaccinated against COVID 19 under the COVID-19 Public Health Response (Vaccinations) Order 2021.
