More About The Role
As an Intermediate Tax Consultant you'll be working closely alongside the Managers and Partners on a diverse range of clients, tapping into their years of knowledge & experience while making sure the work you do for clients is top-notch.
Yes, this will involve completing a range of tax returns, producing the full set of annual accounts but on top of that you'll gain exposure to more advisory work which is encouraged amongst the junior staff and isn’t just reserved for seniors.
Thanks to some handy partnerships and amazing networks, you'll be exposed to a range of clients from day one, of all sizes and industries.
Additionally to keep you at the top of your game you'll receive regular training in all the changes to Xero and in NZ legislation.
With loads of potential for career growth, there will be opportunities for you to really develop your skills within tax advisory as your role will continually evolve to include more and more value adding services.
So who are you, and what is your profile?
You will be working through your CA / CPA qualification or close to becoming qualified. You will need to have prior experience working within a New Zealand professional accounting firm.
At the intermediate level they expect you to have a reasonable understanding of the current NZ tax legislation and financial reporting requirements.
You'll be working with Partners and clients so you need to be confident to hold your own.
Any exposure to IFRS reporting would be bonuses in your favour.
