Parking Warden Now is a great time to start your career with us When you work at Hutt City Council you have the opportunity to do your bit to create a better city every day Were working together towards the same goals we know where were going and know how were going to get there Were looking for a parking warden to join our awesome team in the Hutt Valley Youll carry out all aspects of enforcing parking bylaws and stationary vehicle offenses including equipment fault reporting and responding to parking complaints and enquiries Eventually wed also like you to assist with administration and adjudication work within the team as required Youll enjoy the outdoors have a strong customer focus great level of fitness empathy enthusiasm resilience and great skills around user device technology Ideally you will have worked in a similar position previously Before you apply here are some important things we need you to have A full class 1 drivers license youll work a roster that varies from foot patrol to mobile patrols in the suburbs The ability to work flexible shift hours some weekend work will be required An excellent level of fitness Well provide you with full uniform and training Here at Hutt City Council youll work with talented people who work in diverse areas take great pride in what they do and enjoy working for Lower Hutt the place many of us call home Were committed to your wellbeing and well work with you to be the best you can be Youll be well placed to take advantage of opportunities to grow personally and professionally with us Preferred candidates will undergo preemployment drug and alcohol testing Applications close 24 November 2019 careers huttcity govt nz
