As a leading services provider, we are expanding our business in the Wellington region and are looking for an experienced Contract Manager to lead a high-level contract and to be successful for the delivery of project requirements through planning, execution and controlling all aspects of the project either directly or through delegation of the project team.
What you’ll be doing :
Providing overall project management governance and establishing appropriate financial, commercial and operational controls across the portfolio of hard and soft services as well as minor capital works
Establishing regular reports on financial, systems and Full Facilities Contract delivery performance
Monitoring and reviewing the Preventative Maintenance Management Plan
Ensuring project safety and profitability targets are being maintained at all times
Establishing and maintaining clear communication in relation to technical issues with key stakeholders, including the community, employees and client representatives
Preparing work packages and documentation for tender by potential subcontractors, ensuing that tender information includes details of safety and health, environmental and quality requirements
Demonstrating leadership competencies in knowledge, emotional maturity, entrepreneurial, intellectual and interpersonal ability and leadership
Driving a culture of safety and accountability
What we’re looking for :
Ideally, you will have extensive experience leading and developing a project team within the Facilities Management sector, and posses strong business and commercial acumen, coupled with high level relationship management and negotiation skills.
In addition, the following proficiencies are highly regarded :
Relevant tertiary qualifications relating to management of technical and non-technical service delivery
Experience in the Facilities Management or Services industry
Ability to manage and control the delivery of large contracts and managing a P&L
Highly developed and proven strategic and business planning ability
Demonstratable experience in leading and empowering staff in a team environment
Strong business and commercial acumen, coupled with analytical and critical thinking skills
High-level written and verbal communication abilities
