We are looking for an experienced HR generalist to come join us this role will provide ongoing support to ensure Agile and our new ways of working have landed well, along with elements of change management, employment relations, facilitation, coaching, and culture leadership.

Job Description

As an HR Business Partner, you are responsible for providing excellent customer service through business service partnering to leaders and team members across key areas within our store network.

You will be relied on as the trusted partner for your portfolio / business units and will work with the Tribe and Chapter Area leads on their immediate, medium- and long-term objectives to help them meet their business goals.

Drawing on your toolkit of skills and experience you will :

  • Provide your specialised HR skills with the store leadership teams and store support office leads
  • Provide expert coaching and advice to build and sustain line management HR capability and ensure HR processes are delivered consistently within areas
  • Combine expert knowledge of HR practices and procedures with business understanding to deliver commercial outputs
  • Manage change effectively at a functional area level taking various stakeholders’ interests into account and offering sound advice
  • Hands on’ support to the store leadership teams
  • Assist the business in delivering strategies to build organisational performance and capability with their teams
  • Manage and advise on technical employment relations cases
  • Collaborate with the specialised HR functions to enable delivery and implementation of business focused initiatives. This includes OD, Learning & Development, Health & Safety, Recruitment, Remuneration, and Employment Relations
  • Qualifications

  • Previous HR Business Partner / HR Manager experience, approximately 8-10 years
  • Strong ER experience.
  • Ability to multitask and be flexible and adaptable to different situations
  • Confidence with influencing senior management
  • Having come from the retail sector would be advantage, but is not essential
  • Excellent relationship management and collaboration skills, across all levels
  • Customer centric and growth mindset
  • Experience with union bargaining.
  • Strong commercial and business acumen
