We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Foodstuffs to join our New Zealand team! As our Head of Foodstuffs, you will have the accountability to lead the sales strategy for the Health Foodstuffs business, executing business growth plans as set by the Region.

Playing a key role on the New Zealand Management Team, you will not only oversee the delivery of Foodstuffs targets but also provide strong input into the strategy and decision-making process across the wider New Zealand business.

Your role will include but not be limited to :

  • Have ownership of the Foodstuffs P&L, ensuring all key measures and targets are delivered for the business
  • Build channel and customer specific strategies for the Foodstuffs business and contribute to overall sales and commercial strategy / objectives of the business
  • Lead the process of negotiating annual customer trade terms and customer joint business plans (new product launches, 4P execution), ensuring excellent implementation from the Key Account team
  • In partnership with the National Field Sales Manager, ensure that the appropriate information, tools and trackers in place to ensure best in class execution through retail stores
  • Work with Supply / Customer Services team to ensure that customer service levels are met / exceeded
  • Build a highly effective Foodstuffs account team, developing their capability / competence through focused coaching and support
  • As a member of the NZ Management Team, play a lead role in embedding the local Management Agenda across the business
  • You’ll succeed because

    you have a strong, demonstrable background within FMCG in a Key Account or Sales Management role working across major Retailers.

  • You are results orientated with strong business & financial acumen, you can influence with ease and engage senior management well;
  • both internally and externally. You are a natural leader and can build engaged, high performing teams! Building strong cross functional relationships comes easily to you, a strategic thinker;
  • You have excellent communication skills and are resilient you love a challenge!
