Registered Nurse Paediatric Outpatients

We are looking for a clinically experienced, Paediatric Registered Nurse to join our supportive multidisciplinary team in Children’s Outpatients, based at Dunedin Hospital.
You will be a vibrant Registered Nurse with a range of skills and the ability to work effectively to a high standard of practice.
To be successful in this role you must be enthusiastic and positive along with a passion for supporting children and families.
This role will encompass general outpatient nursing requirements, working in all areas of Paediatric nursing, including specialist areas of Endocrinology and an opportunity to upskill to chemotherapy administration, along with general support of children with chronic conditions managed in an outpatient setting.
You will not only be an exceptional communicator with all disciplines, but be able to navigate internal and external systems to ensure the smooth transition for women in their health journey.
You will need to be quick to pick up systems, particularly computer systems and databases. You will need to think and move quickly in the environment, ensuring the smooth running of the department, and you will be expected to participate and contribute to the wider service.
You will be part of an interactive and passionate team of people who have children’s health at the centre of their work.
This is a part time role of 20 hours per week , with negotiable rostered duties, but will require one of the days to be Friday.
