This is an exciting and challenging role based in the fast-growing Tairāwhiti region, which is renowned for its attractive lifestyle.

Eastland Network keeps the lights on for more than 25,000 business and residential customers across Gisborne, Wairoa and the East Coast.

We need an experienced, dedicated and detail-oriented HSE facilitator to champion the management and administration of our HSE responsibilities in everyday Network operations.

The purpose of this role is to ensure legislative compliance, raise HSE awareness and performance, and maintain and influence proactive safety culture.

To be successful in this role you will have :

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to motivate others to achieve genuine engagement and support for HSE across all levels
  • At least 3 years of experience in a related role, and preferably within an EDB
  • Thorough working knowledge of HSE legislation.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification
  • Eastland Network is part of the regional infrastructure company Eastland Group. Eastland Group's operations also include Eastland Port, Gisborne Airport and Eastland Generation, which produces electricity from hydro, diesel and geothermal plants.
