About the role

Reporting to our local Head of Key Accounts (Chapter Lead) you will form part of our team of Sr Client Leads based out of our office in Hamilton.

As a Hamilton based Sr Client Lead you will manage a portfolio of local business customers to deliver outstanding customer experiences and revenue performance across your portfolio.

Developing networks, both internally and externally, will be second nature to you. Being able to bring together the best of Spark to deliver fantastic customer outcomes that will help them win big in a digital world is what it's all about.

The ideal candidate will have :

  • 4+ years' experience in sales and account management with consistent success and a proven track record of achievement in sales.
  • Experience in ICT & Technology sectors is preferable

  • Ability to develop and articulate complex solutions within a commercial framework that makes sense to the client
  • Ability to strategize and engage with customers at CEO / CXO level to become their trusted advisor and account planning using key sales tools
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, including ability to craft bids and win competitive pitches
  • The ability to achieve KPIs including cultivating growing existing customers, converting new leads, and closing sales by identifying solutions that help our customers deliver better business outcomes for all New Zealanders
  • High level of self-motivation & proven track record of solutions selling whilst delivering outstanding customer experiences
  • Ability to effectively manage sales pipeline and accurately forecast sales
  • Experience in selling managed network services and cloud solutions including MS 365, IT hardware, cyber security and cloud PBX would be a definite advantage
  • Relevant tertiary qualification (preferred, not essential)

  • A passion for understanding what makes a business tick, and proven success in how you can make a tangible difference
  • Considerable Sales and Solutioning Skills, preferably within the ICT / IT & Telco Industry
  • Pragmatic approach with a flair for planning and executing such plans
  • Collaborative approach so as to work closely with team members across the business to deliver a premium outcome for the customer
