Senior Software Engineer

We’re on the hunt for an experienced and passionate Software Engineer to join our super-talented team to deliver great software outcomes for the customer service industry.
Our Software Engineers will be champions of product quality and usability. They thrive on understanding how our software will be used in real world scenarios and ensuring the software will delight our customers.
This is a hands-on Senior Software Engineer role with responsibility for working within a multi-disciplined product development team to contribute to the features, quality and scalability of the product and documentation.
You’ll achieve this through a mix of critical analysis, modern testing methodologies while actively working within a collaborative team team as we build a new generation of contact centre productivity software.
Experienced with Microsoft technologies along with AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
Telephony and PBX domain experience
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Engineering or significant relevant industry experience.
A superb working knowledge of C#, Microsoft SQL Server and Database design
Working with and tuning / debugging within Microsoft SQL Server solutions.
Experience in designing redundant solutions
A minimum of 5 years’ commercial software development experience
Significant experience developing high quality, maintainable and testable code
Contributes to sustainable team velocity by owning problems, tasks, features
Documents technical designs, plans work and provides realistic estimates.
Crafts high quality, maintainable and efficient code that meets project requirements.
Ensure code changes are both unit and integration tested as necessary and contributes to the development of effective test tools and test automation.
Performing ongoing maintenance of the codebase to ensure continuous improvement.
Communicates risks, impediments and progress in a timely manner.
Identifies opportunities for improvement, recommend actions and undertakes improvements to prevent non-conformance to quality standards.
Proposes and adopts ideas to enable continuous improvement of personal and organizational product development practice.
Accurately responds to issues in a timely manner and updates the defect tracker appropriately.
Works constructively in a multi-discipline team environment to achieve shared goals.
As a Senior Software Engineer, displays technical leadership & mentors others within the team for the benefit of the team.
Communicates efficiently and effectively with others.
