About the role

Our dedicated team are looking for a Grounds Person / Van Driver to join us in creating and maintaining an attractive community environment for our residents, as well as driving our residents to venues within a reasonable timeframe.

This role requires a motivated and reliable person with a 'can-do, will-do' attitude, who has the ability to work well in a team as well as with minimal supervision.

On offer is a part time opportunity, working 32 hours per week. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts is essential. This position will be a 50 / 50 split between Grounds Person and Van Driver.

Skills and experience required

Previous experience with large landscape or amenity gardening and a clean drivers licence are essential. A formal qualification or proof of relevant training, particularly First Aid and Grow Safe, will be advantageous.

The ideal candidate will possess a good knowledge of general gardening, spraying, weeding, pruning, and operating garden machinery, including using a lawn mower.

  • excellent written and spoken English with the ability to communicate in a clear, considerate fashion; and an industrious, diligent approach to ensuring that the job is done to the highest standards.
