We take pride in the work we do to keep New Zealand safe from financial crime.The SFO seeks a Financial Crime Investigator to be based in Auckland.
In this role you will contribute to the investigation strategy of a case, work closely with our Forensic Accountants and Investigating Lawyers, plan and conduct witness and victim interviews, complete evidence analysis using the SFO electronic evidence management platform, and write case reports.
To be successful in this role you will have investigative experience and the technical knowledge and skills to investigate and prosecute serious or complex financial crime.
You will have no less that two years' experience as a qualified Detective or equivalent role, and have worked in a domestic or overseas law enforcement agency, or similar body, where you have undertaken investigative work relating to financial crime, including investment fraud, procurement fraud, large scale mortgage fraud, as well as bribery and corruption.
