The Early Intervention Service offers assessment and treatment to young people (13 to 25 years) presenting to mental health services with a first-
time psychotic disorder. We provide a regional service across the Greater Wellington Region. Our aim is to help minimise the impact of these disorders on young peoples’ lives through best practice and innovation.
We are looking for a NZ Registered Social Worker who is able to take a creative and innovative approach to engaging and working with young people.
You will be using an assertive care management approach to working intensively with young people and their whanau. Experience of working with families and facilitating group work is an advantage.
The role is 36 hours per week.
Essential are a proven ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team, a current annual practicing certificate and a full drivers licence.
