This role reports to the Head of Finance - NZAU and provides finance administration support to the regional teams. This includes administration of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable processes, banking, general ledger, payroll and other finance administration as assigned.

Stuff you’ll have up your sleeve :

  • Relevant Finance / Accounting tertiary qualification
  • Equivalent of 1-2 years’ experience in a similar Finance administration role
  • Great excel skills and experience with using accounting software
  • Things you know how to do :

  • Accurately process Accounts Payables & Receivables
  • Prepare monthly general ledger journals & reconciliations
  • Management of the NZAU bank accounts
  • Maintain Fixed Asset Register
  • Preparation and processing of fortnightly payroll
  • Be prepared to get in amongst it and provide general financial administrative support as needed
  • In addition you pride yourself on the following :

  • Providing outstanding customer service
  • Building exceptional relationships with colleagues and suppliers
  • Managing your time well and have exceptional prioritising skills that enable you to deliver to strict deadlines
  • Communicating well beyond that of a traditional bean counter you can explain financial principles to people with no accounting background and enable them to walk away feeling like you’ve enlightened them
