Working as a House Officer
By joining the Auckland Region as aHouse Officer, you will be placed in one of our world renowned teachinghospitals : North Shore, Waitakere, Auckland City, Starship Children's andMiddlemore.

Vacancies and Runs
House Officer runs in the Auckland region are three months in length,following which you may rotate into a different run.
Example run descriptionsfor the 2017 training year can be viewed here. Please note that although yourpreferences will be taken into consideration, this cannot be guaranteed, andyou will need to be prepared to accept any available vacant position.
