The role :
Reporting to the Service Manager Workforce, the primary role of a Schedule Coordinator is to carry out a variety of staff scheduling / Rostering activities to support Regional, Area and Frontline Managers ensure the efficient and effective delivery of services to people with an intellectual disability.
Position Purpose :
Providing a range of staff scheduling / Rostering activities associated with the provision of efficient and effective services to all Service Users and their families.
Establishing positive and effective working relationships with all managers in IDEA Services and IDEA Specialist Services and being seen as a key partner in the delivery of efficient and effective services to all Service Users and their families.
Provide data, reports and other information which can be used by Managers to make informed decisions about workforce management and planning.
IDEA Services operates 7 days a week so some shift work is required including some weekends.
Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers
Able to build and maintain effective relationships with customers and quickly gain their trust and respect
Excellent communication, administration and organisation skills
A good problem solver who can cope with change and ambiguity
A high level of resilience and a positive, can do attitude
Proven computer literacy and experience in using Microsoft Office products (particularly Word and Excel)
