    About the Role

    This role offers variety, extension, and the opportunity to develop within a supportive team environment, whilst allowing freedom and flexibility to deliver outcomes.

    The Administrator plays a pivotal role in the Equity team supporting the Operations Manager to administer requirements for a number of key projects, with an emphasis on our Ready Steady Quit (RSQ) smoking cessation programme.

    The Administrator will support the triage, and allocation of referrals to support the RSQ team, operating as the key liaison between the client, referrer, and Smokefree Practitioner.

    The Administrator will also be required to oversee the maintenance of client records and database information, ensuring it remains up to date and accurate, as well as proactively look for efficiencies in process, flagging any issues or obstacles as early as possible and escalating as needed.

    Our preferred person is likely to have :

  • 2-3 years administrative and / or project coordination experience, preferably within a healthcare setting
  • Awareness and appreciation of culture and diversity, experience and passion for working with M?ori and Pasifika communities
  • Proficiency in MS Office and strong Excel skills
  • Be effective working in a busy, fast paced environment
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and to work to strict deadlines
  • The ability to relate well to a range of people at all levels and communicate effectively, tailoring approach appropriately
  • Initiative to efficiently problem solve
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with acute attention to detail
  • Be comfortable working with complexity and detail but able to see the big picture and linkages
