This is an exciting opportunity to join a small team of subject matter experts operating as part of Land Information New Zealand's (LINZ) Crown property group.
You will assist Government to achieve property related objectives whilst looking after the interests of all New Zealanders.

The purpose of this role is to make statutory decisions on the acquisition and disposal of land by Crown Agencies, primarily under the Public Works Act and various treaty settlement legislations.
The work is high profile and important on a number of levels.
You may have a valuation or property background or a legal background (LLB and practical legal experience). Familiarity working within a regulatory regime and an ability to follow process and procedures is desirable.
Attention to detail, a focus on quality assurance, excellent record keeping and workload management skills are essential in order to ensure consistency, transparency and robust decision-
making. You should also demonstrate an ability to build key stakeholder relationships and have good communication skills.
