PRIMARY FUNCTION

The Quality Control Manager is responsible for implementing the ACTS Quality Control Plan (QCP), developing quality control metrics / checklists, data collection, conducting analysis and auditing each site within ACTS.

Quality Control Manager will work closely with the Program Manager, Site Manager & Contract Office Representative to ensure best practices are followed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Develop and administer the project quality control plan in coordination with Corporate QC.

Enforce project quality control plans and associated standards.

Perform inspection of all work center monthly.

Maintain detailed reports.

Conducts safety briefings to employees.

Chair monthly QC briefings to senior management and customer.

Manage, schedule, review, and certify all submittals for client review and approval.

Perform all necessary project inspections needed for compliance with the QC Plan.

Conduct periodic follow up inspections to verify that work is proceeding in accordance with the PWS and corrective action plans.

Stop work if necessary to resolve matters that affect safety, quality and / or inhibit the logical progress of work.

Work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

Perform other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position has no supervisory responsibilities but will require coordination with other project-level personnel

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES :

Ability to use relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations, or standards.

Exceptional time management skills.

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Ability to maintain a professional appearance.

Ability to be detail oriented, organized, and proactively follow-up as needed.

Effective oral and technical written communication skills to effectively and clearly communicate information to others as well as to present information in front of a group.

Ability to actively listen, with strong written and oral communication skills.

Basic knowledge of Microsoft businesssoftware applications presently used by the Company : ability to learn new applications.

Ability tounderstandand interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Excellent analytical skills with the ability to evaluate data and consider decision impact across multiple areas.

Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings.

Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule.

Ability to learn and understand the Company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Must be able to work independently and stay on task with minimal supervision

Ability to multi-task.

QUALIFICATIONS :

High School Diploma or equivalent

Minimum three years of relevant QC experience within an Air Force range contract.

Previous electronics technician training or ATC certification preferred.

Must be able to work on secure military facilities.

Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance.

Must have current valid driver’s license and clean driving record and be qualified to operate a vehicle

Ability to pass a drug and background screening.
