As we continue to grow as a Security Specialist organisation, we are hiring enterprise sales professionals to run and drive security engagements within our largest accounts.

As the Security Sales Specialist, you are considered a subject matter expert with deep technical expertise within our enterprise sales organisation.

You will be expected to exceed sales quota by creating and implementing strategic account plans targeting enterprise-wide deployments.

You develop trusted relationships at an executive level and build credibility across all levels of the customer’s organization through a concrete understanding of our products and areas that can be resolved by our solutions.

You feel empowered by our product offerings and love a technical challenge.

    The purpose of this role

    In this role as a Security Specialist, you are a senior business leader with technical expertise working within our enterprise team.

    You will lead a virtual team of sales, technical, and services resources to help our customers realize the outcomes and capabilities of the Microsoft Security platform.

    As a leader in your profession. You will be comfortable with the measures of success :

  • Driving customer satisfaction through enabling security outcomes that meet the customers business needs.
  • Achieve customer satisfaction, consumption, and revenue growth goals through aligning our value proposition to the customer own needs and goals.
  • Bring the entire value that Microsoft security has to offer, that speaks to customers’ needs and requirements.
  • Solving customer security problems
  • Demonstrate knowledge of cybersecurity industry, products, and competitor offerings, with fundamental understanding of security threats, solutions, security tools, and network technologies
  • Develop relationships with customer, CxO level Business and Technical Decision Makers
  • Qualifications

    What skills do you need to have?

  • At Microsoft we hire on cultural fit as our first filter, we are looking for someone with a strong growth mindset. Our chosen candidate will enjoy solving difficult problems, have a proven ability to lead, build trust and be credible across all levels of an organisation.
  • We are looking for a sales professional with experience selling security technology and / or services, and it would be beneficial although not essential to have a good knowledge of enterprise customers.
  • Credibility is a key attribute as you will regularly sit with Chief Information Security Officers and other customer executives to advise and challenge.
  • Required / Minimum Qualifications

    6+ years of security-related sales or account management experience OR a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration.

    4+ years of technology-related security sales or account management experience.

    Any industry security certifications are welcomed (CCSP, CISSP etc).
