CLOSER #BRAVER #FASTERThe RoleThe purpose and unique contribution of your role is to lead teams to achieve continuous, quality delivery, maintaining a focus on customer value, outcomes that maximise flow.

You will use technical as well as functional knowledge to remove roadblocks within the team as well as identifying technical risks (e.

g. risks with architecture, design, patterns, performance, etc.) and communicate & escalate obstacles requiring outside resolution.

The role collaborates with key stakeholders to deliver exceptional business outcomes through technology delivered change.

  • Key ResponsibilitiesCoach teams on agile ways of working, fostering continuous improvement to grow agile maturity, resilience and high performanceProvide transparency and visibility of progress throughout the sprintFacilitate the identification and management of interdependencies across teams within a project and across different projectsWork with project & / or program management to facilitate & provide estimates and resource requirements to aid forward planningDevelop high-performing teams by fostering an environment of continuous improvement, including facilitating decision making and protecting team from distractionsWork closely with the Product Owner(s) and / or Iteration managers during sprints including discussions around the understanding of designs, backlog and product demonstrations (as required)Support the development and execution of the platform application strategy ensuring alignment to the enterprise strategy and Technical roadmapsProactively manage demand and capacity with key stakeholders to deliver on prioritised and approved demand, whilst reducing key person dependenciesContinue to develop and plan for future growth, enabling enterprise programs and managing products and services across the entire IAG estateEnable teams to activate end to end digital experiences for customers, colleagues and partners, that are more secure, robust and scalable than ever before, and deliver them with speedBring thought leadership in your field of expertise to support the planning and execution of Technology's strategic priorities, contemporary operating model and business planContribute to both Technology and IAG performance with insights, collaborative input and expertise that promotes value creation, innovation, managed risk, and improved performanceContinue to develop and plan for future growth, enabling enterprise programs and managing products and services across the entire IAG estateSupport the Platform to ensure high availability and reliability of the platform as per the agreed service levelsSkills & ExperienceActive in the Agile community with experience working with Partners and SuppliersWorkforce planning, budgeting and forecastingExcellent communication, interpersonal and facilitation skillsContinuous improvement mindsetPeople leadership and negotiation skillsAble to coach / mentor agile processes within the team specifically in the delivery of the technology solutionsThorough understanding of enterprise software development processes and lifecycle;
  • ability to adjust and apply this knowledge in a dynamic empirical environment using agile developmentOutstanding organizational, communication, interpersonal, relationship building skills conducive to team development;
