Auckland District Health Board is looking for a skilled safety science specialist to join an agile and dynamic team focused on bringing positive change in the safety space.

The Quality, Safety and Risk Service is seeking a Clinical Risk & Patient Safety Manager to join the Team.

The Clinical Risk and Safety Manager is a newly established role within the Quality, Safety and Risk Service. In this critical leadership role, you will partner with Clinical Leaders and Directorate Leads across our large and complex healthcare organisation to understand clinical risks, the implications for patient safety and to enable improvements in models of care and the quality of delivery.

You will also have the opportunity to help shape the Quality, Safety and Risk Service strategic and operational plans.

Given the importance of this role, we are seeking someone who has demonstrated senior leadership experience and an in-depth, contemporary, understanding of safety science within a health care environment.
